Saving Animals Since 2016
“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” At K-Nine Animal Welfare Society, we believe life gains meaning when we serve others — especially the voiceless. Since 2017, we’ve dedicated ourselves to rescuing, caring for, and protecting street and homeless animals with compassion, honesty, and love. With the support of our volunteers and donors, we continue to be a voice for the voiceless and a beacon of hope for every life that deserves kindness.

Animal Cruelty is a Crime
Protected under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960
Any act that causes unnecessary pain, suffering, neglect, or harm to animals is a punishable offense under Indian law. The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 ensures that all living beings are treated with compassion and dignity.
Offenders may face fines, imprisonment, or both under the law. Together, we can create a world where kindness to animals is the norm — not the exception.

K-NINE Happy Endings 🐕
Every rescue has a story. Every story deserves a happy ending.
Bhairav 🐾
Some stories touch our hearts forever. Bhairav’s is where our journey began.
Bhairav holds a very special place in the K-NINE family. He was the first dog to call our shelter home, and in many ways, he became the beginning of our shelter’s journey. ❤️
We found him on the streets in critical condition after a vehicle injured his leg. Through surgery, dedicated care, and lots of love, Bhairav got a second chance at life.
Today, he is happy, safe, and proudly the little boss of our shelter, keeping everyone in line. 🐾
“He wasn’t just our first rescue. He became a part of our family and the beginning of something beautiful.”
Bhairav, you will always be our first. ❤️
Rescue. Recover. Love. Repeat.
